My Train of Thought Went To Canada

My photo I took this morning.  Last night I tried writing my poetry on glossy paper and then I lit a candle and had fun burning the edges and getting spots on it.  A neat little craft that could have more potential.  Mollyanne scribbled on it this morning with the marker and colored my hearts for me.  She's my ten year old.

I was sitting on the couch next to my nine year old daughter, Julia.  She was playing Mindcraft and I was doing something.  Probably on Ebay.  She got telling me something and we were talking and suddenly I lost my train of thought and I was trying to remember what she just said.  So I asked her what she had just said.  We both just stared at each other for a minute and I said, "I lost my train of thought."

To which her reply was, "Yeah, your train of thought went to Canada.  No, it went to China."

And then I said, "Yes. It went through the tunnel to China."

And then she replied, "And it got lost on the Great Wall."

So, my thoughts definitely got whisked away and I had a senile moment.  That goes to show me, that my mind had wandered and I was half listening to her.  I probably had half my mind on Ebay.

But anyway, thoughts disappear so fast and we can lose a conversation really fast sometimes.

Okay, now onto brainstorming.
